Sol de Plata Beach Resort 466 guest rooms and suites surrounded by a tropical garden area of 250,000 sqm = 62 acres. All the rooms are equipped with air conditioning, telephone, private bath and shower, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, tea & coffee maker, stocked minibar, cable TV with international and national television with hotel's internal channel, CD player and balcony or terrace.

Gardenview - 273 Rooms
All rooms have a view of the lush tropical gardens with two twin beds. Maximum 3 people per room . (2 adults maximum)

Poolview - 46 Rooms

Oceanview Grande - 16 Rooms
All rooms have a view of the ocean from the room or balcony with king size bed and sittig area with sofa bed. Maximum 4 people per room. (3 adults maximum)

Jr Suite Tropicale - 22 Rooms
All rooms have additional living room, king size bed and sitting area with sofa bed. Maximum 4 people per room. (3 adults maximum)

2 Bedrooms Master Suites Tropicale - 8 Rooms
All rooms have 2 bedrooms, with 2 double beds in each room, 2 full bathrooms, spacious living room, privacy between the two bedroom with shared living room. Maximum 6 people per room. (4 adults maximum)

Entertainment 

Enjoy the nightly entertainment with different shows at the Amphitheatre. Learn to do the "meringue" in the afternoon. Rock the night away in the pulsating Hurricane's Discotheque or tempt lady luck in the brand new casino.

Jam with live entertainment with different shows at the Amphitheatre from 8:30pm to 11pm. Some audience (adults & kids) shows precede the Sol de Plata Beach Resort entertainers. Weekly trapeze shows are also performed.

DINING

The Hotel Sol de Plata Beach Resort offers 5 restaurants, including four specialty restaurants for dinnertime. Seating will be done on a “FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED” basis depending on available space.

Martinos

Casually elegant, open air (non air conditioned) Italian (a la carte) restaurant (open for dinner only 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m) No shorts, beach sandals, tank tops or jeans. Last seating at 9:30pm and closed one day a week.

Paris

Casually elegant, air-conditioned French (a la carte) restaurant (open for dinner only 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 pm). Last seating at 9:30pm and closed one day a week.

Munasan

Japanese (Tepanyaki) restaurant. (Open for dinner only 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m..) No shorts, beach sandals, tank tops or jeans. Last seating at 9:30pm and closed one day a week.

Jimmy's Buffet

Al fresco, casual buffet dining; open for breakfast (7am to 10:30am), lunch (12:30 noon to 2:30pm) and dinner (6:30pm to 9:30pm) 5 covered, open air dining rooms; outside tables with umbrellas are also available.

Beach Grill "El Coco"

Super Snacks offered: burgers, fries, chicken, hot dogs and refreshments poolside; open 24 hours; beachwear is the norm.

From 6:30pm to 10:30pm, enjoy a Mexican style dinner; casual resort dress is requested; last seating at 9:30pm and closed one day a week.

Introductory lessons of Scuba diving with instruction and equipment included. Additional lessons available ($).

Kayaks and boogie boards at the hotel Beach. All activities are subject to availability and weather conditions.

Landsports

Rock climbing wall, ice-skating and circus trapeze. Beach and pool volleyball, basketball, aerobics, indoor games, 3 lighted tennis courts, 1 lighted basket ball court and outdoor soccer field. All activities are subject to availability and weather conditions.

Golf

The hotel Sol de Plata Beach Resort onsite 9 hole Pitch and Putt is included. Green fee packages are available. However, carts, caddies, clubs & other golf accessories are optional and, if required, must be paid to the Playa Dorada Golf Course. Some local taxes may apply and will have to be paid locally to the Golf Course. Transfers to and from the Golf Course are not included either. Golf is subject to availability of tee-off times set by the Golf Club.

For Children

Children ages 2 to 13 free of charge. The Mini club (4 to 12 years) is open daily. Separate children pool available. Mini disco is held every night at the theater. Baby sitter available on request and with additional charge. Baby cots free.

Casino & Gambling

The resort's on-site casino is now open daily, from 4:00 pm to 4:00 am.

Fitness Center
